The "Raging Bull" of the dog world, a fighter warrior in the ring, but a real puppy dog at home. This dog had been a hunting dog whose job it was to seize and hold the nose of bear, boar, and deer until the hunters could come and kill it. It is now one of the most docile and friendly dog breeds around.
Boxer dogs may look ugly at first, but their look grows on you. It shows in the way most people see a Boxer and say, "oh, how ugly!" And those previously acquainted with Boxers would say, "oh, such a cute puppy!" This shows how the dog's personality can change the way people actually see the dog.
It is a regal dog. It has a slender yet very muscular, toned body. If this dog were a human boxer, it would be a middleweight, because it is refined and efficient in its design. Almost perfect for its poor ugly/beautiful face..
